Willseal Seismic — Vertical Seismic Expansion Seal

Pre-compressed, silicone-faced foam seal for wide vertical seismic and retrofit joints | Brand: Tremco (Willseal) | Model: Willseal Seismic

Willseal Seismic is a pre-compressed, open micro-cell polyurethane foam seal with hydrophobic acrylic impregnation and a factory-applied silicone face, made for wide seismic and retrofit vertical joints. Professional note: Willseal Seismic handles vertical joints from 1/2 in. up to 8 in. wide with ±50% movement at rapid rates — for horizontal seismic joints, specify Willseal Seismic HS instead.

Limitations

  • Vertical joints only — for horizontal joints use Willseal Seismic HS; confirm against the current TDS.
  • Avoid contact with hydrocarbon solvents and corrosive chemicals; confirm against the current TDS.
  • Install at temperatures between −14 °F and 95 °F; confirm against the current TDS.
