Frost 1003 Series — 90° L-Shaped Grab Bar

Type-304 Stainless Grab Bars Rated Over 900 lb — 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 in. Diameter, Peened Grip, Made in Canada | Brand: Frost Products | Model: 1003 Series

The Frost 1003 Series is a 90-degree L-shaped grab bar giving both horizontal and vertical gripping sections beside water closets and in shower stalls. Bars are 18-gauge Type-304 stainless steel tubing with a peened grip, on 12-gauge stainless snap flanges bead-welded a full 360 degrees to the tubing — concealed snap-on mounting with no exposed screws. Wall clearance is 1-1/2 in. (38 mm), and properly installed bars support loads in excess of 900 lb (408 kg). Choose 1-1/2 in. diameter (NP models, including antimicrobial matte black), 1-1/4 in. diameter (SP models, including white epoxy over stainless), or the handed 40 x 30 in. transfer-wall configuration. Professional note: Barrier-free requirements for bar diameter vary by jurisdiction — 1-1/2 in. and 1-1/4 in. diameters are both offered to suit the code in force; confirm against your project specification. Grab bars must anchor into concealed backing capable of developing the rated load. The white model is epoxy-coated stainless steel, not painted mild steel, and the matte black finish is antimicrobial per Frost.
