Contractor FAQ

Which coating system should I use for a commercial concrete floor?

System selection depends on substrate condition, traffic exposure, chemical exposure, required return-to-service time, slip-resistance requirements and whether the area is interior, exterior or UV-exposed. Contractors should confirm the full system against the current TDS, SDS and project specification before installation.

When should I use epoxy instead of polyaspartic?

Epoxy is commonly used as a primer or base coat where build, adhesion and working time are priorities. Polyaspartic is commonly used as a fast-cure topcoat where UV stability and quick return to service are required. Many commercial systems use both. Confirm product selection against the current manufacturer documentation and project specification.

Do you supply products for parkade and traffic coating systems?

Canopus Supply stocks coating and waterproofing products used in traffic coating assemblies, including ResinTech and Tremco/Vulkem products. Contractors must confirm primer, membrane, broadcast and topcoat requirements against the current project specification and manufacturer documentation.
