One-Component, Water-Based Acrylic Primer for Concrete and Cement Screeds | Brand: Sika

Sika Level-01 Primer CA is a one-component, water-dispersed, solvent-free, acrylic-based primer for priming and sealing floor surfaces prior to the application of Sika self-leveling underlayments and overlayments. Confirm suitability, coverage, and application requirements against the current Sika TDS, SDS, and project specification before use.

Key Characteristics

  • One-component, water-based — solvent-free; confirm ventilation requirements against the SDS.
  • Designed to improve bond — formulated to improve the bond between porous substrates and Sika self-leveling underlayments; final bond depends on substrate condition, preparation, and application method.
  • System compatible — designed for use with Sika Level-125CA, Sikafloor Level-25CA, and Sikafloor Level-50CA; confirm system compatibility against the current Sika TDS before ordering.

Typical Applications

  • Priming concrete substrates prior to Sika self-leveling underlayment application
  • Priming cement screeds prior to Sika self-leveling overlayment application

Limitations

  • Must be used as part of an approved Sika self-leveling system — confirm system specification before use.
  • Do not apply to damp, contaminated, or unsound substrates.
  • Confirm application temperature and humidity requirements against the TDS.
  • Do not apply the self-leveling underlayment before the primer has dried to the state specified in the TDS.
