Tremco Vulkem® 350NF | Single-Component Urethane Waterproofing Base Coat

Single-Component Low-Odor Low-VOC Urethane Waterproofing Membrane — Roller & Self-Leveling Grades | Brand: Tremco

Vulkem® 350NF Base Coat is a single-component, low-odor, low-VOC, urethane membrane that bonds firmly to clean, dry concrete, plywood, and metal. It retains its integrity even if substrate movement causes hairline cracks of up to 1.5 mm. If cut or damaged, Vulkem 350NF will prevent water migration between it and the substrate. Available in Roller (R) and Self-Leveling (SL) grades for vertical and horizontal applications.

Professional system note: Vulkem 350NF is the base coat / primary waterproofing layer in Tremco traffic deck systems. It must be topcoated with Vulkem 950NF or another approved Tremco wearing course. Do not use as a standalone finish coat. Confirm the full system specification before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Vulkem 350NF Roller and Self-Leveling grades?

The Roller (R) grade is formulated for application by roller on vertical, sloped, or horizontal surfaces. The Self-Leveling (SL) grade flows to a flat, uniform surface on horizontal applications with minimal tooling. Select the grade based on the surface orientation and project requirements.

Can Vulkem 350NF bridge cracks in the concrete substrate?

Yes. Vulkem 350NF retains its integrity over hairline cracks up to 1.5 mm. For larger cracks or structural movement, consult Tremco for the appropriate system specification.
