P-TUFF® CLASSIC | Single-Component Polyurethane Waterproofing Base Membrane
P-TUFF® CLASSIC | Single-Component Polyurethane Waterproofing Base Membrane
Single-Component, Water-Catalyzed, Liquid-Applied Polyurethane Elastomeric Waterproofing Base Membrane | Brand: PSI / Poly-Tuff Systems International
P-TUFF® CLASSIC is a single-component, water-catalyzed, solvent-free, liquid-applied polyurethane elastomeric waterproofing base membrane. Miami/Dade approved. Designed for application at variable thickness from feather edge to 3" (7.6 cm). Confirm suitability, coverage, cure time, and system compatibility against the current TDS, SDS, and project specification before use.
Key Characteristics
- Single-component, water-catalyzed — no mixing required; cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture; confirm cure times against the current TDS as they vary with temperature and humidity.
- Solvent-free — confirm VOC content and ventilation requirements against the SDS.
- Variable application thickness — designed for application from feather edge to 3" (7.6 cm) in a single application; confirm thickness requirements against the TDS and project specification.
- Miami/Dade approved — confirm approval scope and applicable conditions before specifying.
- Optional fast cure with accelerator — confirm accelerator requirements and cure times against the current TDS.
- Colour: white
Typical Applications
- Waterproofing base membrane for traffic deck and plaza deck systems
- Sloping and pond-filling applications on rough or highly textured surfaces
- Waterproofing base coat where variable thickness is required
Limitations
- Must be used as part of a complete approved waterproofing system — confirm system specification before use.
- Cure time is temperature and humidity dependent — confirm against the current TDS.
- Confirm substrate preparation requirements against the current TDS before use.
- Confirm Miami/Dade approval scope before specifying for hurricane-rated applications.
